” I was born in Washington D.C. and lived briefly in North Carolina.
Colorado has been my home for more than 43 years and is where at six I
decided to become an artist. I have been sculpting and
painting ever since and find my inspiration in music, mythology, history
and mostly in the actions of individuals as both creative and
destructive forces of nature. Everyone has potential, what we manifest
from our potential defines us. This is the human condition and it
fascinates me. I paint from the influence of what we have done as a
species, the sacred and beautiful, the filthy and profane.
I love the environment Colorado provides the artist. Uniqueness is
embraced in our state and diversity celebrated. I think more than
anything I identify as a Colorado artist. ”
