Forever Unclean – Woof EP

Release Date: June 8, 2018

Format: Digital & Vinyl

Label: Disconnect Disconnect Records

Location: Copenhagen, Denmark

Current Lineup: Dink, Donk, & Boink

Favorite Tracks: Words & Road

Sounds Like: Early 2000s pop punk melodies, but grittier musically.

This EP comes with some good variety. Forever Unclean’s first track includes some great tempo changes & even what verges on a hardcore breakdown before blasting through 5 tracks of power pop-punk. While the vocals are Pop as far as melodies go, it doesn’t try to be perfect & clean. There’s a grittiness that works well that can especially work well on the third track, the made for a circle pit “Weird” as well as the closing track “Road.” The end of the song “Words” is a great sing along that I am sure comes across live. Nothing here is reinventing punk rock, but it is a 12-minute surge of rock & roll with strong vocals that will make you want to catch them live when you have an opportunity.
